Elevate Advanced Player Camps Featuring Current Cal Coaching Staff Metropolitan Golf Links | Oakland, CA 📅 June 22–25 & July 27–30, 2026 Program Overview Elevate’s Advanced Player Camps are designed for committed junior golfers who are actively competing and aspire to play varsity high school and collegiate golf. These two exclusive weeks deliver a college-style training and competition experience led by Elevate Golf Academy’s founders in collaboration with current Cal (UC Berkeley) Men’s and Women’s Golf coaching staff at Metropolitan Golf Links, the home practice facility of the Cal golf programs. This is a full-day, immersive program that mirrors the structure, expectations, and daily rhythm of a collegiate golf team. Program Structure: Mornings focus on team practice, skill development, short-game training in the Cal Golf Scoring Zone, and competitive performance drills. Afternoons consist of tournament golf, including a practice round and three competitive rounds. The field is capped at 40 players, divided into teams to preserve pace of play, coaching access, and competitive integrity. Each day concludes with a college-prep seminar covering recruiting timelines, coach communication, tournament planning, team culture, academics, and what separates recruited players beyond scoring averages. Coaching Leadership: Sofie Aagaard – Head Women’s Golf Coach, UC Berkeley Former Cal standout and professional golfer with Division I head coaching experience at Cal Poly and Washington State, along with NCAA Championship contention and international competition experience. Beverly Terry, LPGA – Associate Head Coach, Cal Women’s Golf Former UC Davis standout and 2024 WGCA Division I Assistant Coach of the Year, recognized for her role in Cal’s NCAA Regional and Championship appearances. Peter Ireland – Associate Head Coach, Cal Men’s Golf Veteran collegiate coach with Division I and NAIA head coaching experience, contributing to multiple NCAA postseason runs and championship-level performances at Cal. Player Prerequisites: Participants must be actively competing in junior tournaments (US Kids Golf, JGANC, JTNC, AJGA, or equivalent) and/or currently playing high school golf (varsity or junior varsity). Additional requirements include a Handicap Index of 12 or lower, the ability to commit to a full-day schedule (morning practice and afternoon competitive rounds), and demonstrated coachability, focus, and respect for team and competitive standards.
